Providing accurate details in your ABN application will help to avoid delays.

Update your client’s ABN details

It’s your client’s responsibility to maintain their Australian business number (ABN) details. Details must be updated within 28 days of becoming aware of any changes.

Non-residents may be entitled to an Australian business number (ABN) if carrying on an enterprise in Australia, or making supplies connected with Australia's indirect tax zone.
